It’s Suzanne here. Yes it is the holidays and sometimes at the end of the year there are substantial changes to travel apps etc. here is just one update
Update: For those with Global Entry, as of December 2024, the service's mobile app is now available in almost all US international airports where Global Entry is offered. It allows you to use your phone to take your own picture for facial ID and avoid the kiosk. After you are verified on the app you go straight to the immigration officer and out to baggage pick up. Here is the link to check if your nearest International Airport is on the list.
