We love to visit and highlight wonderful destinations that are often overlooked. This week we are on location in the enchanting town of Puebla, in east-central Mexico, southeast of bustling Mexico City. These next several days we will discover the incredible architecture, pottery, cuisine and more.
Our accommodations will be the beautiful Banyan Tree Puebla, where we already feel quite at home. This intimate property of less than 80 rooms is located adjacent to the impressive 16th century Franciscan “Church of the Five Wounds.” The rooms blend traditional with contemporary in a light, airy atmosphere.
